OUR PROJECTS

In January we joined SCIENCE ACROSS THE WORLD programme. It offers students all over the world the opportunity to exchange information, opinions and ideas on a variety of science topics. Look at our projects if it is interesting for you to know about FOOD in Ukraine, WHAT WE EAT and how we KEEP HEALTHY. Enjoy the differences!

KHERSON

Kherson Region can be included in the number of unique nature spots of the world. It is located in Prichernomorsky lowland in a steppe zone, along both banks of the Dnipro and borders on two warm seas – the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
Would you like to touch the history,to feel the breath of centuries? Then you should come here!
During the war against Turkey, in the mouth of the river Dnipro, on its right bank, the Russian troops built a fieldwork Oleksandr-Shants, where later in 1778 the town of Kherson with a fortress and a shipbuilding yard was founded.
Let us walk along Kherson streets and avenues, shady boulevards and enbankments, listening to the light whisper of the Dnipro waves. Be sure, wonderful discoveries are waiting for you!
Historical centre of the town is the most beautiful part. It can be compared with a museum in the open air. The different architect styles together with southern colouring give the town its unique charm.Town museums, Planetarium, libraries and theatres gladly welcome town guests and residents.
Travel along numerous channels and sleeves of the Dnipro is not less fascinating than romantic travel along the Amazon. After walks through “the Dnipro jungles” travellers can have a rest and taste local cuisine on a campsite.
Welcome to Kherson, the Black Sea Fleet cradle!
